This is an edited version of my compleated contents page. To make the word "contents" stand out more i added a white outer-glow to it. I don't belive that it makes it stand out anymore than it did before, so i decided not to use it.

This is an edited version of my finished front cover. The edits I made were to try and make the masshead and headline stand out more. I did this by giving them both an outer glow. I belive that it does make them stand out more, but the glow creates a contrast to the rest of the magazine, so i decided not to use it.

This is my finish product of my front cover. I believe that my front cover portrays most of the conventions of a music magazine. The genre of the magazine was metal/hard rock so the aim was to make it look dark. The use of the colour black portrays the dark side of the music. To possibly improve my magazine front cover the model could have had a better costume to relate to the magazine. Furthermore, to make it look more professional I could have added a bar code, but due to time management i did not have time.
